Open VPS → Backups and verify whether backup is enabled for this product. Schedule and retention follow the selected provider/product policy.
Snapshots
A snapshot is a point-in-time copy of the server — take one before every major update.
Manual backup
tar -czf /backup/site-$(date +%F).tar.gz /var/www
mysqldump --all-databases > /backup/db-$(date +%F).sqlTest the restore
Once a month, restore a backup into a test environment and confirm it works.
