Before choosing hosting, describe what your site will do: a portfolio, blog, shop or web application. This list will help you compare offers clearly.
Check technology support
WordPress and a Python application may have different requirements. Check software versions, the database and deployment method. Storage capacity alone does not tell you whether a service suits your project.
Estimate resources and growth
Along with file size, consider CPU, memory and concurrent requests. A new project can start with a plan matched to its needs; review upgrade conditions in advance.
Confirm rather than assume
Read the plan description to check what management, support and backups include. Check backup frequency, retention and restoration. Before migrating, keep your own copy of the files and database too.
Make a shortlist
Write down your technology, expected load, email needs and the time available for administration. This makes it easier to compare services or ask support a specific question.
